Assistant Store Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for driving both individual and store sales, delivering exceptional customer experience, and overseeing daily operation. This role supports employee development by leading, coaching, and helping to hold the team accountable, while also fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. You will help to oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of RashawnRose Bridal. You will be both a team leader and a bridal expert!

COMPENSATION
- Compensation includes hourly wage $20 - $22 (You can earn a fluctuating annual income of $55K - $65K)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Management:
- Train and mentor stylists to achieve monthly sales goals
- Ensure your team follow-up with their customers in a timely manner
- Delegating tasks and working with the team to accomplish them
- Staff management: organizing schedules, breaks and enforcing company policies (dress code etc)
- Help foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture

Store Operations:
- Own appointment confirmation and bridal engagement scoring
- Implement and maintain a clean in-store visual merchandising standards
- Overseeing Open and closing procedures
- Coordinate timely repairs and accurate inventory upkeep
- Manage ordering supplies and coordinating with vendors
- Assist team members with Sales Orders based on company compliance requirements (correct measurements, sizes and color)
- Manage shipping and receiving inventory

Customer Service:
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional service during bridal appointments, fittings, and consultations.
- Oversee customer satisfaction: address concerns, resolve issues and ensure customers have a memorable experience.
- Assist team with closing their appointments by helping with fittings, styling, and consultative selling
- Work with customers to ensure a confident purchase decision

Sales Management:
- Drive store performance by meeting and exceeding individual team and sales goals
- Track performance metrics and help identify opportunities for growth.
- Observes individual team member performance and enforces action plans for improvement through weekly performance
- Collaborate with the team on sales strategies, special promotions, trunk shows, and bridal events

QUALIFICATIONS
✔ Retail management experience (preferably bridal or luxury retail) and the ability to achieve sales goals
✔ Strong time management, multitasking and organizational skills
✔ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to respond professionally to clients and team members
✔ Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 25 pounds
✔ Must be able to work weekends and evenings particularly during peak seasons
✔ Reliable transportation
✔ Successfully complete background check
✔ High school diploma required, associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Fashion, or related field preferred.
✔ Proficient in reading, writing and verbal English to effectively interact with clients and team member
✔ Proficiency with computer systems
